The jumping angel product line features dark and elegant designs centered around the words, "I'm not a fallen angel, I jumped." It serves as either an attractive design, or food for thought.
In Judeo-christian culture, the word 'fallen' has become synonymous with failure or loss, as in saying "fallen from grace" but some see it as a sign of independence and autonomy.
When I designed this line, I had originally wanted them to read something like, "Fallen Angel: It was boring up there, anyway." After a bit of thinking, though, I decided to take another route because my forst idea sounded too sour grapes. Ultimately, I wanted to convey the idea of free will and autonomy. I hope you enjoy the Jumping Angel line as much as I did creating it. -Armand Audrey |
