"The difference between Democrats and Republicans is that Republicans take a pocket-knife to a problem requiring a machete and Democrats say that there is no problem!" "The difference between Democrats and Republicans is that Democrats suck and Republicans blow!" Why does somebody have to be a grimy blue-collar, homophobic, tobacco spitting redneck in order to value their Second Amendment rights or support big business? Why does somebody have to be an effeminate, tree-hugging, tofu-sucking yuppie in order to believe that a woman's body belongs to her, or that morality and sexuality have nothing to do with each other? The answer? They don't. I named this section the Bridge because these products are designed to bridge the gaps between Liberals and Conservatives. Both conventional parties have some good points, and both go way overboard with the bad ones. The point is that not everybody has to choose between the two, and some people out there can still see that fact and make their own decisions and think for themselves. It's difficult having viewpoints that bridge gaps. If you're pro-Choice people assume that you're pro-Obama, if you're pro-Gun people assume that you're pro-Life, if you're an Atheist people assume that you're shallow and if you're a Pagan then people assume that you're a "New-Age" whack-job. And if you believe in financial freedom and responsibility and recognize that corporations are not a bad thing then everybody hates you, right? That's why I made this line. I hope that it turns heads and challenges some misconceptions, and maybe makes people think more about stereotypes and the two-party system, and what it's cost this country. Enjoy! -Armand Audrey | |
